Lake Oswego gardens have history. Mature Japanese maples, rhododendrons planted decades ago, stone that has settled into the hillside. Most of our work here isn't blank-slate construction — it's renovation. Opening up an overgrown bed, rebuilding a tired patio, fitting new plantings around trees worth keeping.

That kind of work takes restraint. We'd rather edit a good garden than tear it out, so we're careful around root zones, old stonework, and drainage that took years to settle. On sloped lots — and Lake Oswego has plenty — retaining and water management get planned first, not patched later.

We also keep established gardens looking the way they should, with recurring maintenance that goes well past mow-and-blow — pruning done with a designer's eye, beds edited season by season, irrigation kept tuned so nothing browns out in August. Under mature maples, low-voltage lighting earns its keep the moment the evenings shorten.

And if a mature landscape has room for water, a naturally filtered pond settles into an old garden like it was always there. Whatever the property, the same family has stood behind the work since 1996 — licensed, bonded, and insured, LCB #6834.
